USW Local 6500 and the Sudbury & District Labour Council family-friendly Labour Day celebration

September 7, 2026

It was great to be invited to participate in the USW Local 6500 and the Sudbury & District Labour Council family-friendly Labour Day celebration today.

Congratulations to the organizers for the great job they did.

As your MP for Sudbury East Manitoulin Nickel Belt, I’m proud to stand with working people and I will keep pushing for good paying jobs, strong communities and opportunities for the next generation.

We need to stand up for Canadian workers, protect Canadian jobs and support businesses and industries that make Canada strong and competitive.
