Sudbury West Nipissing Cattle Association AGM

I attended the Sudbury West Nipissing Cattle Association AGM and had great conversations with local beef farmers, including Derik and Stephanie Montpellier of Montpellier Farms (generational since 1927).

Thank you to President Maria Sorelli for the warm welcome.

This association is one of 48 grassroots local groups in Ontario, serving as an advocate and unified voice for the province’s 19,000 beef farmers. Working to ensure Ontario beef is recognized as an outstanding, high‑quality product.

J’ai assisté à l’AGA de la Sudbury West Nipissing Cattle Association et eu de belles discussions avec des producteurs de bœuf locaux, dont Derik et Stephanie Montpellier de Montpellier Farms, une ferme familiale qui se transmet de génération en génération depuis 1927.

L’association est l’une des 48 organisations locales de base en Ontario, et elle agit comme défenseure et voix unifiée pour les 19 000 producteurs de bœuf de la province. Travaillant à faire reconnaître le bœuf ontarien comme un produit exceptionnel et de grande qualité.
